The Hot Rod Garden Tractor Pullers Association is a caring and friendly family-oriented member-owned organization that provide fun, safe and relaxing pulling entertainment for people of all ages. NOTE: Due to few participants, with little help at the pulls, and with multiple garden tractor pulling clubs in Missouri, no HRGTPA pulling events will be scheduled until further notice. Most pulls preferred to be held in Missouri. This website will updated as soon as information is available. Click HERE or HERE to refresh or reload this web page to see any changes. ATTENTION - We're planning to include several new mini-truck pulling classes (Chevy S-10, Ford Ranger, etc.) along with our normal garden pulling tractor classes. This should definitely help the HRGTPA acquire a lot more quality pull-sites in Missouri because competition pulling trucks are money-makers for the fairs, they draw a lot more spectators and a huge audience, while garden pulling tractors (along with small wheel mini-rods) are more or less "fill-in" entertainment that draw very few spectators and a small audience. This is based on certain and proven fact! Not bragging or exaggerating, just stating a fact.
So as part of the Hot Rod Garden Tractor and Mini Truck Pullers Association, in an effort to provide more high quality and exciting entertainment at the pulls in Missouri and if there's enough interest from pullers, we'd like to include, in addition with the usual garden pulling tractor classes, two new compact/mini pulling truck classes, a 2,900 lb. and 3,800 lb. Pro Street 2WD truck class with a V8 engine and DOT / 31-15.50x15 lug tires, and perhaps a "new concept/hybrid" 2,900 lb. 4WD truck class with a 4 cylinder or V6 engine and 26-12.00x12 lug tires. It's a proven fact that garden pulling tractors alone (and sometimes with small wheel mini-rods) don't attract that big of a public spectator audience at the pulls. Pulling trucks, on the other hand, have always attracted a huge public spectator audience at all pulls because most people can relate to trucks than garden tractors. These additional classes of mini trucks may be included in the rules and at all pulls. The mini pulling trucks will be the main event. Check out our YouTube channel to see the 2,900 lb. 4WD pulling trucks (and garden pulling tractors) in action. Click here to learn what it takes to build a 2,900 lb. 4WD pulling truck. I'm gathering the parts to construct my own medium size self propelled pulling sled, but in the mean time, looking to rent a medium size sled that can handle these mini pulling trucks. These pulling trucks will be discussed, decided on and voted-in by pullers who attend the meeting at a later date to be determined. We will still use our own garden tractor sled for use of the garden pulling tractor and small wheel mini-rod classes at all pulls, too. Thinking in ways of using the greatest gift this country has to offer: free enterprise, competition, the American way. Because I believe there's more to life than just pulling garden tractors and small wheel mini-rods. With the pullers' support and involvement, together we can make the HRGTPA one of the greatest pulling associations in Missouri. The HRGTPA is a member-owned, family-friendly event association with a private-owned self-propelled pulling sled, weighing scale, precision measuring equipment. Lots of pullers always show up when they hear that our sled is going to be used at a pull. Please call either number below or send an email if you have any concerns or questions regarding the operations of the HRGTPA. If you haven't been to an HRGTPA meeting, please come and spend some time at the meeting(s). Bring your family and friends that may be interested in pulling with a puller-inspired quality association!
Experienced pullers of other associations and beginner pullers are always welcomed to participate with the HRGTPA. Additional classes will be made for tractors from other associations, and the other association's sanctioning rules for the additional class(es) will be adopted by the HRGTPA.
The HRGTPA is a family-oriented garden tractor and mini-rod pulling motorsports organization designed for family members and friends of all ages to enjoy and spend quality time together. The HRGTPA makes the sport of pulling look good, fun and safe! The HRGTPA offers an inexpensive opportunity for people of all ages to participate together in an exciting family-oriented motor sport. Providing honest, quality entertainment the entire family of participants and spectators can enjoy. Within the HRGTPA, all pullers will be treated fair and equal, with no corruption, no cheating, and no favoritism of any kind to any puller! Pullers always have a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere at all HRGTPA's events. When the pullers/participants have a good time and feel relaxed at the HRGTPA pulls, that's what professionalism is all about. (It's also a well-known and undeniable fact that the HRGTPA has the best pulling sled in the state of Missouri!)
FYI - Pullers are not required to pay yearly membership dues before voting changes in the HRGTPA rules. Pullers can vote changes in the rules, and if the finalized rules (and the amount of scheduled pulls) are favorable and acceptable to you, then please pay your yearly membership dues, and your entry fees at the pulls, pull your tractors and have fun. (We're not like certain other pulling associations that require pullers to pay their membership dues before they're allowed to vote changes in their rules. Then if the rules aren't in the puller's favor, and/or if the association don't have many pulls, the association has the puller's money and all the puller have are some undesirable rules to pull under and very few pulls to attend.)
HRGTPA provides $1,000,000 spectator liability insurance at all approved sanctioned pulls, except for sled rentals. Click here to read and print-out our insurance policy.
The Hot Rod Garden Tractor and Mini Truck Pullers Association and "Track Master" (the official pulling sled of the HRGTPA), are sponsored solely by A-1 Miller's Performance Enterprises, in connection with Brian Miller's Garden Tractor Pulling Tips & Tricks web sites.
FYI - When we decided to build our sled in 1993 to create the HRGTPA, we wasn't thinking only of ourselves. We were thinking of the pullers, their families and friends. We didn't spend hundreds of man-hours and thousands of dollars of our own hard-earned money building our sled and scales, and purchasing the state of the art measuring equipment just for our own benefit and profit. We're not into pulling to get rich and famous either. We did it so nice and understanding people could use our sled and equipment at the pulls. We want everyone to have a good time at our pulls. We realize that some people don't appreciate the efforts of others, and there is no way to make everyone happy. But we would appreciate it very much if pullers, their families and friends (in Missouri) would come and pull with us. Seeing pullers having a good time at the pulls with a smile on their faces makes us realize we did something worthwhile and it makes us want to do even more for them. And unlike certain garden tractor pulling clubs/associations in Missouri, Track Master's sled operator do not cheat and show no favoritism to any puller, despite who they are or what they have done for the HRGTPA association. Because most honest pullers don't complain about cheaters unless there's a legitimate reason.
